Stronger Fitter Bones Lifting Protocol - Hove

Maintaining bone health is easier than bringing bone density markers up, this requires a big effort. The SFB Lifting Protocol takes all the latest evidence and works through big lifts such as the Deadlift. Strong muscles create strong bones. Combined with impacts, and highly challenging balance activities we hope to provide the consummate bone building programme.

Who is Stronger Fitter Bones? Bex Morant qualified as a Physio from St George's Medical School in 2003. From 2006 she worked as part of the specialist Balance and Bone Health Team at the Princess Royal Hospital. In 2012 she took over as Clinical Lead for Osteoporosis setting up education groups, exercise classes and giving many lectures on Osteoporosis. In 2019, private classes were growing so Bex made the hard decision to leave the NHS to pursue Stronger Fitter Bones privately.

We are all different, your views and how you manage your Osteoporosis matter. Some people may just need a small nugget of information to maximise bone health. For others living with Osteoporosis can feel very daunting. After diagnosis the thought of feeling ‘fragile’, the fear of falling and fracturing are very real. Perhaps you have a complex medical history that are stopping you exercise. Or have watched family members struggle following fractures. The impact of fractures also varies greatly from person to person. Many people recover well but for some a fracture can lead to long term pain management. Advice is often conflicting and confusing about how to strengthen your body and what activities may be safe for you. Through education, exercise, reassurance, or hands on therapy, I want to help you make informed choices based on current evidence on how to manage your condition. To be able to tackle daily tasks with confidence, to know which exercises will really help, to gain stamina and balance, to build Stronger Fitter Bones.

After 18 years specialising in working with Osteoporosis I hope that my compassionate listening approach will match your needs.
